Changing between standard units and between compound units in numerical and algebraic contexts

Note that lessons G14a and G14b focus on converting between standard metric units of length, mass, area and volume in numerical contexts. In this lesson, the Alpha exercise focuses on converting between these standard units algebraically. The Beta and Gamma exercises focus on converting between compound units (speed and density). The Beta exercise is numerical – e.g. converting 4 m/s into km/h. The Gamma exercise is algebraic – e.g. converting d g/cm3 into kg/m3.
